His voice, with remarkable range and control, definitely does NOT reflect his age--it remains as amazing as it was years ago, possibly even better!
The orchestra, along with his guitarist, drummer, and brilliant conductor, arranger, and keyboard artist, serve as the cherry on top. Their presence as part of his "team" for more than 30 years guarantees an enchanting night for any fan of exceptional musicians and a stellar vocal performance.
I have seen Gorillaz perform 5 or 6 times, and I have NEVER been let down.
It saddened and surprised me that our local newspaper completely disregarded covering the concert. It seems they fail to acknowledge genuine talent and achievements of artists above the age of 50...what a pity for them.
